Dear Dr. Hamel and Staff:
I was in last week talking to Susan and telling her how much I love my veneers. It has been about 2 ½ years since I got my top teeth veneered and about 7 months since I got my bottom teeth veneered. Every time I look in the mirror, I am thankful for Dr. Hamel and his staff. I had always wanted straight beautiful teeth; and actually had had braces at one point in my young adult years. But I was very foolish and did not wear my retainer as instructed and my teeth moved back pretty much like they were prior to wearing the braces. Dr. Hamel was recommended to me and the rest is history. He made me feel so comfortable; I did not hesitate to make an appointment to start the process. I am so happy that I have my veneers. I believe it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself (my husband is certainly the best)… and he loves my teeth! Sometimes he looks at me and says, “Your teeth are beautiful and so are you”. And that is after all this time. He still recognizes how beautiful they are and how natural they are. I have Dr. Hamel and his staff to thank and that is the reason I am writing this. I am so very pleased with Dr. Hamel, his staff and everything they have done for me! I believe if you choose to use Dr. Hamel, you will not be disappointed.

Five years ago, I was looking for a new dentist, and the first one I visited said I had eight cavities. A neighbor of my family’s gave us your name. When my mother and I came to your office you sat down, took time to listen to my questions and took time not only to answer them but to teach me about my teeth. No dentist had ever showed this level of patient professionalism before. You took the time to make sure I understood and felt good about my teeth. And since then, I had come to your practice to experience this bedside manner and sincere work.
A few months ago, my husband asked me to consider a new dentist that was closer to our house. I visited, and he said I had five cavities. Immediately I scheduled an appointment with you. I came to your practice feeling frustrated and vulnerable. Not only did you take time to check my teeth and explain there were no problems, you re-sealed one of my molars free of charge. Nor did you charge me for the visit.
There is no better feeling than being able to trust your doctor. And it seems more and more difficult to find professionals who treat others as they would like to be treated. I know that when I walk into your practice you are passionate about what you do, that you hold yourself to a high standard, and that you care about the well-being of your patients. So I thought of you when I read this quote, “Kindness and honesty can be expected only from the strong” (anonymous). Thank you for your kindness and honesty.

I just want to tell you all how much I appreciate your kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness and genuine concern for me these last few months. The touch of your hands, gentle hugs and sweet laughter has had a tremendous affect on me, and I am grateful.

I just wanted you to know……..
Before undergoing any cosmetic dentistry, I went to many consultations and then evaluated the expertise of the dentist as well as the overall cost of the procedure. Many of the cosmetic dentists’ offices looked more like a movie set with certain celebrities’ photos on the wall. Of course, they do this in hopes that you are impressed by the whole façade so they can charge you more and you’re able to say that you and “Tom Cruise” shared the same practitioner.
Fortunately, I take a more practical approach to things, including the selection of my cosmetic dentist. First, it is very important that I trust and like the person that I choose to do any type of business whether it be my health or otherwise. Unlike many doctors that you visit, Dr. Hamel is not as concerned with getting as many patients through the door in one day’s time as he is with your overall satisfaction. Instead, he spends a significant amount of time explaining the procedures and at the same time giving a realistic time frame. He is by far one the most genuine, sincere professionals that I have ever met. And, he also has a fun and energetic staff that made the procedure less stressing.
Since completing the oral architectural plan that Dr. Hamel drew out for me, the only regret that I have is that I did not do it sooner! My case was not simple…it also included visits to the Oral Surgeon for implants and the whole process took about 9 months for completion. But, the results are incredible and I would do it all over again. Now, I get many compliments on my teeth and smile. This was the best money that I ever spent and not nearly as painful and uncomfortable as I had imagined.

I was pleasantly surprised
